The Christina to my Meredith, the Blair to my Serena, the Monica to my Rachel, and the Brooke to my Peyton. Thanks for always being my best friend and always pretending to be my mother. Here's to you, roomie.

1. When you go out without them, and they ask you what time you think you'll be home, and you roll your eyes. EVERY TIME.

2. And when they drop you off they're like:

3. You call them after to see if they'll come pick you up.

4. You text them and ask "Will you bring me food on your way home?"

5. They walk into your room and look at your overflowing laundry basket and say, "Don't you think it's time to do laundry?"

6. You act like they're your own personal nurse when you're sick.

7. They always take your group pictures for formal.

8. They're your go-to person when you need someone to donate money or participate in your sorority's philanthropy event.

9. They attend all of the sporting and intramural events you participate in to cheer your on.

10. "So, how did you do on your test?"

11. They embarrass you in public.

12. "Wow, you should really clean your room"

13. They're the ones that get you through every breakup.

14. They hug you when you need a hug.

15. And even when you don't.

16. They encourage you when you need encouraging.

17. They're the first person you go to for advice.

18. They're always a little overprotective.

19. They're skeptical of every guy that you like ...

20. ... mostly because they're going to be the ones whose shoulder you're going to cry on if it doesn't work out. Actually they're your shoulder to cry on in any situation, big or small.

21. They will always be the first to tell you when you're completely out of line.

22. You may fight sometimes.

23. But you always know they have your best interest at heart.

24. And at the end of the day you love them no matter what.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
