23 Reasons Why I Love My Best Friend

Finding a best friend that you can relate to is essential in life. Someone who won’t judge you, and even when you are being weird (or dressed like you are homeless), still continues to go out in public with you. Someone who loves you for you and is on your side no matter what. There are many reasons why I love my best friend, but here are just a few.

1. You go on adventures with me.

2. You rock out to "Hannah Montana" with me.

3. You are the only person I know that can eat her weight in chow mein.

4. You dye your hair random colors with me.

5. You’re willing to love what I love.

6. You watch "Grey’s Anatomy" with me.

7. I miss you when we spend just an hour apart.

8. You eat donuts with me at 3 a.m. with zero judgement.

9. You see me every morning and you still love me.

10. You hate the same things I hate.

11. You understand my weird obsessions (old cars, Maroon 5, and "Supernatural" all make for a perfect day).

12. We can sit in complete silence with zero awkwardness.

13. You understand that going on a drive is a must.

14. You are always willing to dance it out with me.

15. You understand that I'm a cuddly person and have no concept of personal space.

16. You know that if we see a cat while driving we have to stop and try to take it home.

17. You are willing to go to random concerts with me.

18. You let me complain to you.

19. You know how I'm feeling, even when I don't know myself.

20. You aren’t afraid to tell me how it is.

21. You encourage me to do better than my best.

22. You keep me going.

23. You are my person.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
