23 Questions I Have For Susquehanna University

I am a first-year student at Susquehanna; I'm still trying to figure certain things out. But after last semester, I am still left wondering about certain things, such as:

1. Why do you enjoy taking all of our Flex, especially when we want bacon on our sandwich?

Let me live.

2. How come we were able to choose our meal plan before first semester, yet we all were put on the 2 meals a day plan?

I need at least 5 meals a day to survive.

3. Why does Charlie’s only take SU Bucks?

I don't even think I have 50 cents in my pocket.

4. How come we get charges to our SU accounts without being consented with first?

Did someone steal my ID or did I really spend that much at the vending machine this week?

5. Why does Bogar Hall induce faint spells and hot flashes?

Can everyone smell my stress sweat?

6. When will all buildings have proper heating and cooling units?

Seriously, I can't win here. AN ACCEPTABLE MID-RANGE TEMPERATURE PLEASE.

7. Is there an air freshener designed specifically for the trees?

8. If someone has to wring out her hair, can they please do it BEFORE exiting the shower?

Nasty.

9. Can any of the instances the fire alarm went off at the first-year residence halls count as a fire drill? Or must we wait until Psafe assigns a time frame just for it to be postponed?

Idk how hard it is for college students to make popcorn.

10. Must we always hike across campus to access our cars?

Sassafras lot is too far away for my liking.

11. Who gave first-years such a bad reputation?

We aren't all confused party animals. Promise.

12. Does Scholarly Grounds use water to make hot chocolate?

13. Is Clyde's specifically designed to make Taco Bell look authentic?

Came here to workout but I'm getting a walking taco instead.

14. How does Aramark make its food taste so gross?

15. Why aren't all the laundry rooms equipped to accept SU Bucks?

16. Can our tuition include subscriptions to Netflix and Hulu?

17. Is it possible to build a Chickfila on campus? How about an ice cream shop?

18. Do you really expect us to keep ordering pizza on the weekends after 10 pm?

19. Can Starbucks get the same promotions as the locations on the strip?

This is a mystery.

21. Who thought to change our mascot to Benny the River Hawk?

22. How come it's offensive to use the term "freshman"?


23. Why do all other colleges fall in comparison?

Regardless of all your flaws, I am proud to call you home and honored to raise the orange and maroon.
