1. Getting mad at the absolute smallest things

2. Yelling at your significant other, over them breathing



3. Almost crying at the thought of your favorite food and realizing how much you miss it.


4. Eating anything with cheese on it


5. Waiting in line at a restaurant feeling like forever


6. Objects not being food start to look appealing


7. Complain about everything


8. Thinking about what you are going to eat next while eating


9. Waiting so long that you think it would be easier to fall over and die


10. When someone cuts you in line and you want to tell them what's up


11. When you got food to go and everyone is getting their food and you think your's was forgotten


12. When your stomach is trying to tell you how much you suck by growling at you


13. When someone is sitting next to you with food and you are on another level of hangry



14. Calling your favorite pizza place that you just so happen to have on speed dial


15. Checking your online order every... 20 second


16. Wondering why the delivery person is going SO SLOW

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
