21 Things To Do When You Are 21 And Single
You Queen

Singleness is a season worth rejoicing over. Being single is the time when you try things you have never done before and find who you truly are inside. Don't waste this special time pining over finding "Mr. Right"; instead go out and find the right YOU, and your Mr. Right will not be far behind!

1. Go on a road trip somewhere by yourself and feel OK exploring on your own.

2. Buy yourself flowers. Trust me, they look JUST as good no matter who puts down the cash.

3. Splurge on a new wardrobe. You'll feel like 1,000,000 bucks, and it'll show.

4. Get some new hobbies. You owe it to yourself to figure out what you really like to do so you can find someone that shares your interests.

5. Train for a marathon.

6. Go to a bookstore, and read for an hour or two. Some calm alone time will do you good.

7. Be bold. Turn the tables, and approach someone you think is good looking.

8. Make a bucket list of restaurants and bars to go to where you live.

9. Go to the beach alone.

10. Go Skydiving.

11. Learn to do yoga.

12. Go to a movie alone.

13. Try surfing, water-skiing, or some activity you don't already know how to do.

14. Fly to a foreign country by yourself.

15. Learn to stand up for yourself.

16. Go on a date with someone who actually makes you nervous.

17. Be a good wing woman. It's not always about you.

18. Do at least one Valentine's Day alone.

19. Attend a wedding (or a few) alone.

20. Learn to cook well. I feel I’ve done pretty well for myself in this area.

21. Host a girls-only night. I think some coupled-up women forget how much we need each other.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
