Every major has its own various problems and issues, but being a political science major is an incredibly unique experience. And, because of the daily crazy struggles all of us face, we're often compelled to document those moments and share them with our friends. So, here are some of the snaps that us political science nerds most frequently take, because we've all been there.

1. Paper-Writing Snaps

Last semester, I wrote 24 papers. This semester, I'm already at 13, and it's only March. Political science majors write crazy amounts of papers, so of course we're gonna snap about it.

2. Class Snaps

Political science classes, for the most part, are discussion-based and reading-heavy. For this reason, it's pretty easy to get bored and start checking Snapchat.

3. Notes Snaps

Because we're always drowning in them.

4. Tabs Snaps

One for Wikipedia, one for e-mail, one for Sparks Notes, one for a distraction, another for a distraction...

5. Political Theory Snaps

We've all had to suffer through political theory classes, and we've all suffered even more trying to understand them.

6. Quizlet Snaps

The only foolproof way to study.

7. Planner Snaps

To a political science major, a planner is a holy book.

8. Post-It Snaps

How else am I supposed to stay organized? My Post-It notes are basically an extension of my planner.

9. Study Group Snaps

Writing papers on papers is just easier with friends.

10. Grades Snaps

We all get grades that surprise us.

11. Law Book Snaps

One of our greatest struggles.

12. Reading Snaps

We do as much reading as we do writing, and at least 70% of it doesn't make any sense.

13. Blue Book Snaps

The dreaded blue books.

14. Late Night Snaps

It never ends.

15. Coffee Snaps

It's necessary after all of those long nights.

16. Morning Snaps

Are we ever feeling it?

17. Office Hours Snaps

We're always there in desperation a few hours before a paper is due.

18. News Snaps

The political science nerd in all of us always has one eye on CNN.

19. End of Exam Snaps

Walking out of an exam room is the best feeling in the world and it needs to be documented.

20. Turabian Snaps

The most important book a political science major will ever own.

21. And, when Turabian fails us...

We always need a backup plan.

6 Things Owning A Cat Has Taught Me
Liz Abere

Owning a pet can get difficult and expensive. Sometimes, their vet bills cost hundreds of dollars just for one visit. On top of that, pets also need food, a wee wee pad for a dog, a litter box with litter for a cat, toys, and treats. Besides having to spend hundreds of dollars on them, they provide a great companion and are almost always there when you need to talk to someone. For the past six years, I have been the proud owner of my purebred Bengal cat named Spock. Although he's only seven years and four months old, he's taught me so much. Here's a few of the things that he has taught me.

Kinder Self - Eyes

You're Your Own Best Friend

Kinder Self - Eyes

It's fun to see all of the selfies on social media, they are everywhere. I see pictures with pouty lips, duck lips and pucker lips. I see smokey eyes, huge fake lashes and nicely done nose jobs, boob jobs and butt lifts. Women working out in spandex, tiny tops and flip flops. I see tight abs and firm butts, manicured nails and toes, up dos and flowing hair. "Wow", I think to myself," I could apply tons of make-up, spend an hour on my hair, pose all day and not look like that. Maybe I need a longer stick!"
