October is here again, and for some of us, that means more than just changing the calendar. We LIVE for October, and when it finally comes, we come back to life for the season again! If you've experienced these phenomena, you might be one of us...

1. No sound pleases your ears more than crunching on fall leaves.

Even better than crunching down on good food.

2. And the oranges and browns of fall are your aesthetic.

Tumblr-worthy levels of satisfaction.

3. Your favorite pastime: LEAF PILES.

The one time that having leaf bits stuck your hair and clothes is actually a good thing.

4. Your go-to Starbucks drink is, of course, a Pumpkin Spice Latte.

AKA liquid gold.

5. ...And really, you just love Pumpkin Spice anything. It's all amazing.

The ACTUAL most wonderful time of the year. Sorry, Christmas.

6. Boots, sweaters, and beanies are your favorite types of clothing. Especially when worn all at once.

Not to mention, you can start wearing jeans again.

7. And the best part? NO MORE LEG SHAVING.

In the words of Elsa, let it grow.

8. To you, something about October weather makes everything so much cozier.

Top it off with a good book, cat, and hot tea.

9. You can finally say good riddance to summer, and welcome the cooler temperatures, fog, and autumn showers.

If only the amazing fall weather could last year-round.

10. You live for fall festivals and county fairs.

Rides, games, competitions... and don't even get me started on fair food.

11. And of course, the best part...

H A L L O W E E N.

This is Halloween, this is Halloween,
PUMPKINS SCREAM IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT!

13. Favorite fall decoration? Pumpkins. Favorite Halloween decoration? JACK O'LANTERNS.

This gif is totally your spirit animal. Don't lie.

14. Favorite movie genre? HALLOWEEN.

Freeform's got you covered.

15. When the store aisles start looking like this, YOU COME BACK TO LIVE.

The only time that shopping at Walmart is actually fun.

16. Not to mention, when this gem of a place finally returns for the season.

You can never buy too much stuff at Spirit Halloween.

17. Spooky. Everything.

Haunted trails. Horror movies. Scary costumes. It's all good.

18. You take Halloween costumes WAY too seriously.

No, scratch that. You can never care about too much about costumes. SO much more fun than dressing like a normal person.

19. Trick-or-treating is honestly your favorite thing ever.

You can never be too old for trick-or-treating. Besides, you would do anything for FREE CANDY.

20. The whole Halloween season gives you life, and you look forward to it all year round. Nothing makes you feel like a kid again quite like Halloween.

Halloween isn't a day, it's a season. And when you finally turn the calendar to October, it finally begins.

21. Everything about October makes you happy, and you wish October would never end.

October makes everything better.

LONG LIVE OCTOBER.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
