The 2016 Super Bowl Halftime show was definitely one to remember. Three big name artists traveled to California to perform on the stage for the 50th anniversary. Cue the tears and screaming Beyonce fans.
Coldplay started off the show with colorful props along with two of their popular hit singles. Hundreds of fans danced around the stage to partake in the annual concert. The band added fireworks and dancing flowers, (trying to one up last year's dancing sharks?), throughout the stadium while fans held cards with the words, "Believe in love".
Next to hit the stage was Bruno Mars, along with the Jabbawockeez as the backup dancers, slaying the hit song, Uptown Funk, with upbeat dance moves. Although a short solo performance by the pop heartthrob, Queen B soon arrived and took the stage and showed who was boss.
The superstar icon performed her new song, Formation, with a field full of backup dancers. It was spectacular. Beyonce brought her all to the show and even saved herself while almost falling when having a sing off with Bruno Mars.
Coldplay came back onto the Halftime stage and performed one last song with Bruno and Beyonce while flashbacks of past Superbowl Halftime shows appeared on the television screen that included, Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Bruce Springsteen and many more. Very emotional to say the least.
Although a part of me was hoping Lady Gaga was going to make a special appearance after her rendition of the national anthem, the three artists came to kill the stage and did just that.
