A 2015 Kardashian & Jenner Year In Review

As 2016 is slowly approaching, now is a good time to reflect back on the highs and the lows of this past year. 2015 was a solid year, especially for the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Thankfully, social media has helped us keep up with the lives of every family member. Here is a run-down of the Kardashians' and Jenners' year.

Caitlyn Jenner

Hello, Caitlyn! Caitlyn Jenner was introduced to the world as seen on a cover of Vanity Fair magazine, and on an interview special with Diane Sawyer. Since then, Caitlyn has become a spokeswoman and she has been learning more about what it means to be a part of the trans community. In addition, Caitlyn received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award during the 2015 ESPY Awards in July. Glamour named Caitlyn one of its "25 Glamour Women of the Year" in October, and she was listed as one of Entertainment Weekly's "Entertainers of the Year" in November. Also, Caitlyn was named Barbara Walters' "Most Fascinating Person of 2015" in December. And, "I Am Cait," a TV documentary series, premiered on E! in July. Caitlyn truly had an eventful 2015!

Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashians and Jenners, had quite a year. Recently in December, a fan broke into Kris's home, which led to Kris firing her security team. Despite the unfortunate news, Kris celebrated her 60th birthday by throwing a "Great Gatsby" themed party in November. In addition, Kris hosted her annual Christmas party at her home. It is safe to say Kris celebrated her way through 2015.

Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian split from her longtime on-and-off boyfriend, Scott Disick, over the summer in July. This breakup did not cause Kourtney to spiral downhill. She spent 2015 surrounded by the people who mean the most. Family.

Kim Kardashian West

Kim Kardashian West did not fail to have a terrible 2015. Kim dyed her hair a platinum blonde color during the Paris Fashion Week. Also in 2015, "Selfish," Kim's book of selfies, was published. Now people can look through a book of pictures of the one and only, Kim Kardashian! Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed their second child, a son named Saint, to the world in December. And the most recent highlight of Kim's 2015 was when the "Kimoji" app came out in the App Store. Now people can text Kardashian-inspired emojis to their friends.

Khloé Kardashian

The highlight of Khloé's 2015 must be becoming an author. Khloé wrote a memoir, "Strong Looks Better Naked," that was published in November.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner walked in dozens of fashion shows this year. But what may just be the biggest fashion Kendall walked in was the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She even got to walk in the show with her supermodel BFF, Gigi Hadid. Kendall also became a spokeswoman for Estee Lauder. What a solid year of being a supermodel.

Kylie Jenner

Well, in 2015, the world learned about the truth behind Kylie Jenner's plump lips. Also, in case you are living under a rock and have not been keeping up with the Jenners, Kylie turned 18 years old! So, I guess it is safe to say those must have been the highlights of Kylie's 2015.

Brody Jenner

"Sex With Brody", a talk-show hosted by Brody Jenner, aired on July 15, 2015.

Burt Jenner

Burt Jenner is expecting his first child with his girlfriend, Valerie Pitalo. It's a boy!

Brandon Jenner

Brandon Jenner and his wife, Leah Jenner, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Eva James, on July 22, 2015.

Here's to 2016!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
