On July 23, 2010, "One Direction" was formed on the British version of the X Factor. Almost immediately after being put together the boy band gained a huge female audience, a reaction never seen by the show before. It was then that the world knew these boys were going to be big. Despite losing in the finale of the show, Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn continued their journey as a band. Six years later the group has managed two world stadium tours, a movie, five albums, and even tried their hand in cosmetics. They were able to reach such heights thanks to their dedicated fans known as directiontioners. Through the last six years directioners have awed at the actions of one direction, here is look back at some the greatest memories.

1. WMYB

The song that started it all. "What Makes You Beautiful" shot to the top of charts in several countries.

2. Louis and Zayn's Weed Scandal

When news hit that the two One Direction members were smoking a joint, all hell broke loose. Girls started cutting up concert tickets, parents were asking for refunds. Until this moment, many people viewed the group as only appealable and at the maturity level for tweens.

3. Pepsi Commercial

The only commercial that made me forget Coke existed.

4. The Olympic Performance

Only the biggest acts get asked to play at the Olympics. For only being around two years, it's a big deal that they made it that far.

5. Stadium tour

6. Liam signing to a label on his own

What does this even mean? Is he gone or no?

7. That time Harry just...

8. Niall gets his braces off

The real shock came when the fandom found out Niall had braces since forever ago.

9. The break ups

We all have that one member we wish we could date but break ups hit the fans pretty hard. However, none of them hit as hard as when....

10. Zayn Left One Direction

THE WORST DAY EVER! All around the world the sound of fans hearts were breaking. The exit wasn't a surprise however since he had taken a brief month pause to "sort things out."

11. Niall falling at the masters

"O no, Niall"

12. Zayn vs. The Wanted

Seventeen year old me lived for this moment. I was refreshing my timeline ready for the next tweet.

13. The time Niall just... during "Better Than Words"

You died, I died, we all died.

14. "This Is Us"

This was one of the high points. It is not everyday that you get to see your idols on the big screen. We were blessed with the music and and promotion that came a long with this movie.

15. "The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction"

These animated episodes, all done by Mark Parsons, were life. Parsons put the boys in a manner in which we already saw them, our heroes.

16. When Liam did the whole fandom a favor.

Once again, thank you.

17. Red Nose Day

18. 1D Day

The one day every directionter gave up their life to watch aOne Direction livestream that was just too much for our emotions.

19. MSG

What a time to be alive! It is literally the best and watching how proud they are is all we could've hoped for!

20. Video Diaries

Had to end it where it all began. Yes, we are stilt waiting for more video diaries but the gems we were given are blessings. The boys on the stars have grown up and it has been a pleasure to be apart of it.

From the days on the X- Factor in 2010 to the trying times of 2016, this fandom has stayed by the sides of five boys. Through all the ups and downs we are damn proud to be called directioners!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
