College has its ups and downs, to say the least. It makes for some pretty great memories and probably some of the best times of your life, but between classes and parties and learning how to adult, it can be way too much to handle sometimes. Thankfully, the staff of Dunder Mifflin can relate.

1. When the freshman 15 kicks in but your confidence is doing just fine.

2. When you've been moved in for two weeks and you're already missing home.

3. How it feels when you try to carry all your groceries to your room in one trip.

4. When you've been driving laps around every parking lot on campus and there isn't a single space available.

5. When you realize syllabus week is over and you actually have real responsibilities.

6. When you go to your advisor and they ask you what you need help with.

7. When you're trying to be productive and get your day started but instead you're still sitting in your dorm wearing your sweatpants and drinking coffee.

8. When you're trying to have a good time at the football game but you're surrounded by sloppy drunks.

9. When the weekend finally arrives.

10. When your weekend ends up on social media.

11. When your semester bill comes in and you still have to buy groceries and gas and other adulting things.

12. Your teacher that won't let you use Keynote even though every student has a MacBook.

13. When you're part of a group project and you get stuck doing all the work just for everyone else to complain about the way you did things.

14. Finals week in a nutshell.

15. When finals are over and you make it to Christmas break.

16. When it's time to register for classes and everything overlaps.

17. When you actually have an A in one of your classes.

18. When you've just had enough.

19. When you finally make it to summer.

20. When you realize all the stress and chaos was totally worth the memories you made.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
