Virtual reality is offering a new platform for creative ideas in the tech world. The list of what we will be able to do with virtual reality is never ending. Companies of all genres are learning about how they can build and innovate to work with this technology. Here are 20 examples of some really cool things you will be able to do with virtual reality.

1. Watch movies. Virtual reality movies will be unlike any IMAX movie experience ever.

2. Fly, anywhere you want. We've all had flying dreams, well now your dreams can be a reality. Want to fly over amazing cities, oceans, skyscrapers? No problem.

3. Be the character in your favorite film! Into adventure? Well, just put on your VR glasses and hop into the world of Indiana Jones!

4. Rock your head off on stage at your favorite concert. Be the star!

5. Play 360 games. Instead of a remote control, you're the remote!

6. Be a tourist in the country you have always dreamed of traveling to. See monuments, sculptures, caves, historical buildings, archaeological digs, old towns and villages that have always been a dream of yours to see!

7. Play a sport. Play ping pong on an island off the coast of Mexico.

8. Run somewhere cooler than the track, like the Grand Canyon.

9. Experience historical events. For real.

10. Relax on an island while in your backyard.

11. Use it like Skype, but actually be with the person you want to talk to. Imagine actually hanging out with your best friend from Germany!

12. Walk through the stadium while watching the game.

13. Travel through the solar system.

14. Simulate a flight and pilot through the sky over the world, or maybe blast out into the galaxy.

15. Interact with musical instruments and create new compositions.

16. Create art on a new dimension. If you're a creative person, VR will allow you to create art on a whole new base. Giving you more control and freedom.

17. Experience the fictional story of your favorite book.

18. Do things you suck at. Maybe you're really good at skateboarding, but can't do that kick-back-flip-360-turn. Well, how 'bout just simulate the activity and learn how to do it in slow motion?

19. Study for anatomy with 3-D imaging.

20. Ride a roller coaster in your living room.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
