The average college student graduates with $30,000 in debt, give or take a few thousand. So while I’m busy spending a small fortune on my education, I thought I’d torture myself a little more by taking a look at all of the things I could have put my money toward with the $40,000 I will end my college career owing.

Don’t get me wrong – my college experience has been life-changing. And WWU is the best. But when I start thinking about all the money I owe for my degree, the shopaholic in me starts dreaming about all of the goodies I could have gotten instead. So while my peers and I were spending our money on awesome and totally useful classes like glass blowing and chemistry, we could have been out blowing our loans on things like this:

1. 13,378 Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supremes

2. 320 pairs of Birkenstock sandals

3. This adorable pink colonial house in North Adams, Massachusetts

4. 53 and a half IPhone 6 pluses

5. 133 female pygmy goats

6. 8,421 Grande White Chocolate Mocha’s from Starbucks

7. 112 of these ever-so-practical Michael Kors bags

8. 16,327 8.4 fl. oz. cans of Red Bull

9. 5,006 months of Netflix

10. 5,000 Lemon Drops

11. 4,469 rolls of $100.00 Bill printed Toilet Paper

12. 7,619 Turkey Tom sub sandwich’s from Jimmy John’s

13. Three of these diamond studded Tiffany & Co. wristwatches

14. A small business

15. Two 2015 Volkswagen Beetles

16. A full-size replica of the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones

17. 8,000 tubes of bacon-flavored toothpaste

18. Almost 15 waterproof TVs

19. A PedalPub party bike

20. Six giant chandeliers made of Gummy Bears

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
