I moved into the dorms four weeks ago and I think the best part about it is overhearing others conversations. Walls are not thick people, we know when you’re pissed at your roommate, when you think your life is falling apart, or when you have someone over. If you’ve ever lived on campus you know what I’m talking about, and you will relate to these 20 things I have heard walking around my building.
- Hey Alex do we have any ramen left?
- Will you come show me how to work the washing machine?
- Dude how am I supposed to know, my parents always did that for me
- Shit my class starts in 5 minutes, I gotta go
- Do you know anyone that’s 21?
- I’m already wearing sweatpants to class, why am I here?
- I just remembered all the debt I’m going to have, damnit
- Do you know how long these leftovers have been in the fridge?
- I want food but it’s so far away
- My life is a mess
- Why is room 127 so much cooler than us?
- Yeah I don’t feel like going to class
- Dude groceries are expensive
- I waited a half hour for the bus, I’m never leaving the dorm again
- Can we just watch Netflix instead of well, anything
- So help me if you have your boyfriend over again, you guys are all lovey and it’s gross
- Taco Bell really needs to deliver
- The best part about college is I don't have to wake up until 11 and I don't have to wear real clothes to class
- Heey wanna loan me 20 bucks?
- *on the phone* hey mom, how do I get a pizza stain out of my shirt?
