Fall semester is finally coming to a close and we have many things to say goodbye to. Whether it be football games, graduating friends, tailgating, teachers, etc. we all will miss certain things this past semester has offered. But as the door to Fall semester closes the one for Spring is beginning to open and we have many things to look forward to. We will never forget the lessons we learned or the fun we had but now it is time to get excited for new experiences. As we all finish up our finals and soldier through the end let's start planning for a fun, new semester!
1. Sleeping In On Saturday
No need to rush to the tailgate or to the stadium! Even though football games will be missed tremendously during Spring a few extra hours of sleep is something we can all appreciate.
2. Spring Break
Whether you spend it at home, on a beach, on a mountain, with friends, or with family spring break is something to always look forward to!
3. New Classes
New semester, new me? Spring semester is a chance for us all to start fresh with our classes and maybe change a few things we did wrong last semester.
4. Opening Of The Museum Of Fine Arts
MOFA will be having its opening reception on January 13th, you will be able to catch up on the projects and recent works of the talented art faculty of the College of Fine Arts! Enjoy all the diverse works of various artist and check out all the events they plan to have this year.
5. Spring Sports
We may loose football but we also gain tennis, baseball, softball, golf, volleyball, track and field, rowing, and more.
6. Enjoy In-Season Fruit
Grapefruits, kiwis, strawberries, cherries, and more delicious fruits will all be in season very soon and the best part is you can get them all at the Tallahassee Downtown Market. It will be open every Saturday in March through November!
7. Take Advantage Of The 2016-2017 Main-Stage Performance Season
FSU's amazing school of theater will be putting on amazing performances and shows during the Spring semester including Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" in February!
8. Join A Club
Missed your chance to join a certain club during Fall semester? Well, soon you'll have the opportunity to try again!
9. Get A Job At The Part-Time Job Fair
You can kick off the new semester with a brand new job! You can meet with local employers and on-campus departments on January 12.
10. New Students
Tired of your current friends? No worries there will be a whole new wave of students coming in for the Spring semester! New students mean new relationships and more diversity to our amazing campus.
