'Tis the season because it's finally winter break! The last few months have been filled with tailgate season, wild parties, all-nighters spent at the library, unhealthy eating, an insufficient amount of sleep, and endless amounts of homework and stress. But hey, you're here and you made it to the light at the end of the tunnel: winter break.

When college students start college, they anticipate all the fun times and crazy memories that come with college, but they also look forward to walking out of their last final and going home for the holidays.

While college students are excited to go home for winter break, the same thing happens every year: they run out of things to do. In the time leading up to Christmas and New Years, there are only so many shopping trips and lunch dates you can have with your friends from home before you get bored. No need to worry, because I have you covered.

Who doesn't want to spend winter break at home, relaxing, wearing your pajamas, drinking hot chocolate, and watching movies with your family and friends? In case you're in need of some movie inspiration, here are 20 must-see movies (not in any specific order) to watch over winter break, or anytime of year, because who doesn't want to watch Christmas movies all year?

1. "The Santa Clause"

2. "The Santa Clause 2"

3. "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause"

4. "Elf"

5. "Four Christmases"

6. "A Year Without a Santa Clause"

7. "The Polar Express"

8. "A Charlie Brown Christmas"

9. "The Holiday"

10. "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"

11. "Christmas with the Kranks"

12. "A Christmas Story"

13. "Home Alone"

14. "Frosty the Snowman"

15. "Miracle on 34th Street"

16. "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"

17. "A Christmas Carol"

18. "A Bad Mom's Christmas"

19. "Jack Frost"

20. "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

While there are dozens of Christmas movies I could have included on this list, these are my go-to Christmas movies every year. Comprised of quite a few classics, movies you wouldn't expect, and a series, the best way to spend your winter break is by relaxing with a cup of hot chocolate, wearing your pajamas, and watching Christmas movies with your family and friends.

'Tis the season!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
