19 Thoughts I Have During The Last Week Of Classes
Daniel Grill

Finals start next week which means I just endured what I think is even worse than finals week: the last week of classes! The last week of classes is when you kind of have to start thinking about finals but you also have too many assignments due in the same week. Here are the thoughts I had this past week.

1. Why do professors make every important assignment due during the last week??? I'm actually going to explode from stress.

2. I mean, I guess I could start studying for finals but my last final is like 9 days away.

3. WHY ARE ALL MY FINALS ON THE LAST TWO DAYS OF EXAMS

4. I wanna go home!!!!!

5. 12 more days but I'm not counting.

6. Why on earth is my last final on the last day from 4-6pm? Why does the University hate me?

7. I guess this is where the high school skills of BS-ing your way through everything can apply.

8. I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO DO ALL THE THINGS

9. Wait... I never have to sit through another 75 minute lecture in [insert least favorite class here]. GOD BLESS

10. How on earth am I going to move all my crap out of my dorm? How did I do it on move-in day? That seems so long ago.

11. I should start packing... but what if I need that thing that I'm going to pack that I definitely don't need?

12. Remember two months ago when I wasn't stressed? I mean, I was stressed but not stressed.

13. I wonder what my cat is doing right now. I hope he's good.

14. Just one more recipe video I need to watch on Facebook, I promise.

15. Just one more wholesome animal video I need to watch on Facebook, I promise.

16. Wow imagine that! I don't have to live in a dorm for the next 3 months.

17. I should probably start throwing out all this random crap on my desk.

18. Can I survive the rest of the semester without paper towels? I really don't want to buy more.

19. How the heck did this year go by so fast?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
