Going to college in the brew city has its advantages and disadvantages, but students have found ways to thrive and develop their own unique culture within the city limits. And you more than likely got your bus pass with unlimited rides from your university.

2. You know Starbucks will never be able to compete with Colectivo.

It tastes as if pure love was put into a cup.

$2 tacos? Don’t mind if I do.

6. You order toppers at 3 am just because you can.

Mmm, greasy goodness and delicious stixs.

7. You know you will almost always meet and see some weird people while at Bradford beach.

Raise your hand if you have ever seen various older men rollerblading in speedos.

8. You go into Grand Avenue Mall and expect there to be stores.

Get it together, Milwaukee.

9. You get unbelievably good deals on tickets to sporting events and concerts.

Student rates, yes, please.

10. Because of those deals, you go to professional sporting events more than your own schools.

The Bucks, Brewers, Admirals and the Wave? Who needs school sports!

11. Getting the Power Pass to Summerfest is an absolute must.

Spending $90 never felt so good.

12. You are going to end up going to the Rave more than you want to.

Loud music, flashing lights, glow sticks and sweaty people--everywhere.

13. Been scared for your life while you are at the Rave is a thing.

“Oh gosh, someone please get me out of this dark, musty place."

14. You also know accidentally hitting on a high schooler at the Rave is a thing too.

“So what school are you at?" "I'm a senior at Greendale." "Oh, umm, well, I should get back to my friends.”

15. Your go-to place to take friends and family visiting from out of town is the Public Market.

It's iconic, easy and the food is to die for.

16. Taking spur-of-the-moment trips to Madison is completely normal.

“What are we going to do there?” “Fate will decide."

17. You have seen and wondered what Jesus Car Guy does all day.

Does he just drive around for a living? Who would pay him to do that?

18. Participation in the Shamrock Shuffle is a right of passage.

No matter how much beer you drink, you’re still not Irish.

19. You know there is anything but water consumed on Water street.

More beer, please!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
