So you're a milenial, but don't feel like one. After a stressful day, or week, all you want to do is crawl into bed to read a good book or watch Law & Order SVU marathons. Your friends ask you to go out, but you'd rather wear sweatpants and bake. You're the girl who has everything in her purse. Someone needs a bandaid? You got it. A stapler? Not a problem. A granola bar? Can't have anyone going hungry. You're on a fast track from your degree straight to retirement. Let's face it, you were born to be a grandma.

1. You'd rather be at home with your animals than out with friends.

2. You obsessively craft or even knit.

3. You feel the need to feed everyone.

4. Or bake for everyone.

5. A book and hot tea is your idea of a good time.

6. You make time out of your day to "watch your shows".

8. These TV-shows include, HGTV, Food Network, and Hallmark.

7. You find yourself taking care of everyone.

8. Which also involves checking in on all your friends. "How are your classes?" "You're studying right?" "Do you need anything from CVS while I'm out?"

9. You give advice. Any advice. Relationship advice, work advice, school advice, life advice.

10. You could stay on the phone with your friends for hours.

11. Your bedtime is anywhere between 8:00-9:30...and when you do go out you're nodding off at 10pm.

12. You use the words "whoopsie", "golly", "bless" or "bless me", "oh heavens", "I'll be..."

13. Fuzzy socks are your favorite accessory.

14. Comfortable shoes and practical outfits are a must.

15. You cringe at your own generation. I mean just the word "bae" disgust you.

16. Holidays are your favorite. I mean Halloween and Christmas? Could there be better times of the year?

17. Speaking of Christmas, you probably give the best presents.

18. And secretly hope for practical gifts for birthdays and Christmas. I mean who doesn't want a Kitchen Aid mixer?

19. You can't wait to have a "me" day or a day to spend with all the other 20-something grandmas just like you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
