19 Times SpongeBob Has "Perfectly" Summed Up My Finals Week
NOLA

Finals, one of the most stressful weeks a college student can have. With the amount of sleep, I’ve had this week, it is a miracle that I am even writing this article. Here are some moments from SpongeBob that accurately describes my finals week. Hope this brings you some laughs.

1.When You’ve Had about 30 Cups of Caffeine and Still Can’t Focus.

Anyone else still feel like a zombie even when you’ve had the maximum amount of caffeine you can have? Or is it just me?

2. When You’ve Procrastinated So Much That Procrastination Has Become Your Middle Name

I think I need to change my middle name on my birth certificate. Anyone else?

3. When You Take Your French Final and Realize You Should Have Studied Instead of Watch Netflix.

I guess eight hours on Netflix wasn’t the right thing to do.

When Your Friends Are Done With Finals and Go Out, But You're Stuck Inside Studying.

I need about 8 tanks of oxygen.

5. When You Wake Up In Middleton After Pulling an All Nighter.

We’ve all had these moments.

6. Waiting For Your Professor To Upload Final Grades.

My finger nails shrank a lot this semester. I might have to take a trip to the nail salon this week.

7. When You Oversleep and Almost Miss Your Exam.

I probably shouldn't have hit snooze 10 times.

8. When You And Your Best Friend Know You're Going To Fail That Biology Exam.

There’s nothing more comforting than knowing that you and your friend are in the same boat: to fail the same exam.

9. When Your Mom Calls and Asks How You're Doing.

Well, Mom, I've lost my sanity if that's any good news.

10. When You're Just Done With Finals and Life

Can we start planning my funeral now?

11. When Your Teacher Says There Is No Curve.

Thanks a lot *Insert Professor’s Name* for disappointing me.

12. When You Leave Himes Testing Center

Anyone who has ever taken an exam in Himes, a.k.a. “The Pit of Despair,” knows this feeling.

13. When There Is No More Free Coffee At The Union

Give me coffee or give me death!

14. When You Email Your Professor Asking For An Extension On A Paper That Was Due Two Months Ago.

If you’re anything like me, sweet talking your professor is the way to get what you want. If you’re that student with the “strict” professor, best of luck to you.

15. When Someone Says, "I Failed Too."

This is music to every college students’ ears.

16. When The Answer Is "144" And You Get "7,535,032."

Surely I can’t be the only student that calculates a math problem, doesn’t get the correct answer, and chooses the closest answer to what I calculated?

17.When Your Computer Crashes And You Had A Paper Due That Night.

Just kill me now.

18. When You Walk Halfway Across Campus To Find Out That The Teacher Postponed The Exam.

Nothing Irks me more than when I wake up early and walk 30 minutes across campus only to find a sticky note on the door that reads “Class Cancelled.” To all professors, this is what E-mail is for.

19. When You Get Hit With That "Fee Bill" The First Day of Finals Week.

Why not throw in a tornado while you're at it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
