18 Reasons Why We Love Matthew McConaughey

1. His style. Need I say more? This man knows how to dress.

2. He looks great holding a puppy.

I mean what is more attractive than a man holding something as sweet, and cuddly as a puppy? Let me help you answer that: nothing… except maybe a newborn baby.

3. See what I mean?

4. He takes selfies!

He may be a fully distinguished movie star with a wife and kids, but the man is still “hip” people. Look at that selfie!

5. He can actually pull off a sun visor hat.

Hear me out. I know these have about a 0% chance of ever coming back into style, but for some reason when McConaughey does it, it seems OK.

6. Dat Flow Doe.

We’ve seen his luscious locks at many different lengths throughout the years, this one making the top of the charts for many obvious reasons. Any girl would kill for those curls!

7. He relaxes by the pool with his kids like a real dad should.

Even got out the point-and-shoot and everything! It is photos like this one that make him seem more like an every day human and less like the seemingly unattainable-movie star he is.

8. I mean he’s just a family man in general…

I should have warned you all, your heart will be in a puddle on the floor while scrolling through and seeing some of his family photos… That’s my bad.

Magic Mike was strictly for his fans. Showing off those muscles and dance moves, every girl wanted this DVD in their stocking that Christmas.

Better yet, he stays in shape on the beach!

16. And can pull off any role (Even if he’s forced to lose all muscle tone)

Movie roles such as this one are what make us realize just how devoted he is to his career as well.

Have you ever seen a better smile? I triple dog dare you to try and find one better than his!

18. But most of all, he is a fellow member of our wonderful Greek community!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time.
