18 Awkward Moments That Everyone Has Experienced
Bri Prosser

There are those moments in life that all of us have encountered, then there all the really awkward ones that makes everyone want to go cry in a hole. It happens to the best of us, and for the most part, we end up just laughing it off.

1. Saying "I love you" before hanging up the phone...

By mistake because it's out of habit. Yes, you just told the telemarketer you loved him/her because you are used to telling your mom or dad before hanging up the phone. Then you hurry and hang up the phone before it gets even more awkward.

2. When you think someone is waving at you...

But it's actually the person behind you.

3. That moment when you make eye contact with somebody through the little crack in the bathroom stall

Yeah.. You know you are guilty of this one. And you basically want to flush yourself down the toilet.

4. When you hit 'like' by a mistake on a photo that is 56 weeks old

Your heart stops and your face becomes as red as a cherry. Basically you life is over and you hope you don't see that person the next day... or ever again.

5. When you chew too loud...

Like eating a bag of chips when the room is completely silent. Or eating popcorn at the movies when it's at the saddest moment at the movie and everyone around looks at you.

6. When your teacher is helping the person next to you, and her butts right next your face

Just don't look over.

7. Walking into a packed room late

All eyes are on you and not in a good way either.

8. Having "Happy Birthday" being sung to you in a restaurant

You look at your friends or parents like "why did you do this to me." And they are going to hear about it later, unless the dessert is good.

9. Watching a movie/tv show with your parents and then a sex comes on

No matter what age you are, it's always going to be awkward.

10. Falling or slipping in front of a group of strangers

You try to laugh it off and play it cool but you are actually in pain and embarrassed.

11. Seeing your boss/professor in public

Especially when you do not like them. Then he/she sees you and suddenly you are their favorite person.

12. When you show someone a video on YouTube...

And you thought it was down right the funniest thing you have ever seen and then your friend doesn't even crack a simile.

13. When you have something in your teeth and no one tells you

You have been going around for a good hour or two and no one told you had a huge piece of lettuce or pepper in your teeth. And the worse is when someone you hardly know tells you about it.

14. Sending a text to the wrong person or even worse, a snapchat

Buckteeth, triple chins, booger hanging out. Yup. That just happen. And you just pray that they don't screenshot it. Or delete you off snapchat. And the best is, you sent it to your crush.

15. Trying to pull a door that is meant to be pushed

They really should make "push" or "pull" bigger on the doors, so you don't look like a fool.

16. Forgetting someones name

And you wait for someone else to say it so you don't look stupid but of course no one does.
"Hey! How are you Ralph?" You mean Robert?"

17. Making eye contact with the person that is next to you at the stop light

You look away but you can feel them still starring through your soul.

18. Going into the wrong classroom and sitting there for basically the whole class time

Yeah, you totally knew you weren't in the right classroom five minutes into the class. But you can't get up and leave right in the middle of lecture. That would be even more embarrassing.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
