Any person who frequents social media is bound to see the typical "new year, new me" or "this is my year!!!" posts. No matter how cliche or common these are, everyone always sees the new year as a perfect time to better themselves and set resolutions as to how they will act for the upcoming year. However, let's be honest- how many of these actually stay or continue longer than a couple months? Personally, I have had a whopping zero of my new years resolutions actually stick, but this year, I am going to change that. How? By creating (and sharing) 17 realistic and reasonable goals for the new year that anyone can keep.
.) Go to bed before midnight at least two nights a week.
.) Stop sub-tweeting that girl from high school.
.) Understand it's okay to sub-tweet her if she really is asking for it.
.) Embrace naps for all they are worth
.) Eat one less fast food meal a week and go to the caf instead
.) Know you probably won't last very long with number 5 and that it's okay
7) Go to the gym at least once a month (hey you have to start somewhere)
.) TREAT YO'SELF
.) Study breaks are an important part of properly obtaining information.
.) Don't take no for an answer
.) Love that messy bun
.) Stop apologizing for being yourself
.) Netflix is a blessing and use it for all it's worth
.) STOP FOLLOWING THE KARDASHIANS
.) Go to class. I promise it's not that bad.
.) Appreciate puppies and other smalll animals whenever you can
.) SLAY.
