Gameday in Athens is... there's no other way to put it... legendary.

When it's not football season, we're all wishing for football season. Each and every football season, we fondly look forward to the next home game in Sanford Stadium. Here, game day is a culture. There are some elements that are constant every single week.

Here is your ultimate guide of what to expect and what you'll see on any given Saturday in Athens.

1. *Insert sorority name here* loves the dawgs button.

2. Somebody "calling the dawgs."

3. Girls wearing jerseys as a dress.

4. Boys wearing patterned pants that are red or black.

5. Clear purses, because they're the only purses allowed.

6. Girls in perfectly put-together black and red outfits.

7. Little girls dressed in UGA Cheerleader costumes.

8. Huge fraternity tailgates up Milledge and Greek Park.

9. Ridiculous fraternity banners.

10. Spike squad.

11. Cowboy boots.

12. Red solo cups.

13. Tailgate tents all up and down the street.

14. Big Chik Fil A cups.

15. Students scrambling to pull out their UGA IDs.

16. Happy, loud, obnoxious Georgia fans.

Game days in Athens are truly unlike no others. Anyone who has been to a UGA game or any UGA alum can tell you the same. There's no school who does it quite like like we do here. If you haven't ever experienced a Saturday in Athens, you need to plan to make a trip up here soon. Go dawgs, baby!

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
