College life is some of the best years of your life; however, sometimes when you are going through them, they feel like the worst. Professors put us through hell, we have to balance school and work, homework, tests, quizzes and papers. We spend many nights trapped in the library until 2 a.m., eat somewhat questionable food sometimes, and push ourselves to the breaking point to be the best. Here are some of our daily struggles.
1. When your professor assigns homework during break or after a test:
Seriously, it's not cool.
2. When your friend tells you you're major is inferior to theirs:
I don't sit around and sing around a campfire. Shockingly, I actually have work to do.
3. When a classmate reminds a professor about homework:
Why, why would you do that?
4. When it's Thirsty Thursday and your floor mates won't be quiet:
It is even worse if you have a morning class the next morning.
5. Your reaction to the housing lottery:
It is the "Hunger Games" of college.
6. Professors during finals week:
They do realize we have four other finals to prepare for right?
7. Pretty much every college student during the final weeks of the semester:
It's exhausting...
8. When you haven't been to bed in three days...
We miss it...a lot...
9. Trying to pay attention during class...
It can be a real struggle, especially if it is a morning class and you went to bed at 2 a.m. the night before.
10. When your mom has been on the phone with you for hours and won't stop talking:
We love you, we miss your food but we have to go write that 10-page paper that is due tomorrow now.
11. When your professor won't update the syllabus and you have no idea what is going on:
You pray before every class in hopes that there wasn't any homework due or a pop quiz on a reading assignment you didn't get done.
12. When you try to give yourself a pep talk to help you through that grind:
You can do this...maybe...I hope so....
