All through my life I have struggled with my wild and endless curls. I have tried hair products I could not pronounce and currently possess a graveyard of broken combs. My hair is wild, coily, crazy, and most importantly independent. I have never had a day where my hair has done exactly what I wanted it to do and a day without frizz. I have gone through arm cramps, rats nests, and my hair getting stuck in the most awkward of situations. Even after my hair seems to betray me, I still love her. She’s the sour patch kid to my scalp. The garden I have to constantly tend to and the apple of my eye. I would never give her up because nobody’s hair posses the spunk and character she has. I love my hair, but we do run into disputes.
