Every group of friends has the "mom" of the group. She is always there to talk care of everyone, offer advice on everything from outfits to boys, and most importantly, be the glue that keeps it all together. But hey, mom's know how to have fun with the best of them. They manage to keep it cool, calm, and collected while everyone else seems to fall apart.
1. You're always the one setting up plans and making sure everyone knows who, what, when, where, and most importantly...sweats or dress.
2. You are always reminding the group of important things to remember like to not walk home alone and to bring toilet paper to the frat.
3. Your friends look to you to get them away from any and all unwanted boys. Most likely, you have come up with an agreed upon signal for everyone to use.
4. You always carry plenty of tampons, gum, lipstick, and of course snacks for everyone's use because you can count on the fact no one else will and you always have what they need.
5. Your response time from living room to holding her hair over the toilet would put Usain Bolt to shame.
6. Your friends have introduced you to boys as "mom" who then join in on calling you that...
7. You have to approve every and all possible boyfriends, formal dates, etc.
8. "What would we do without you?" is a question you receive on a constant basis.
9. Everyone knows they can always call you at 3 a.m. and you will answer no matter what.
10. On the rare occasion you let loose and get a little crazy, all your friends scream and cheer you on like you have just been crowned Miss America, while documenting every single moment of it because who knows when this will happen again.
11. You text/call/sprint to their house to make sure they got home okay.
12. You wonder how everyone has the energy to go out every night...sometimes it's nice to just stay in your pajamas.
13. If anyone is mean to one of them, you are the first to respond and protect your children, putting those bullies in their place...no one messes with mom.
14. You are always stocked with ice cream for when someone gets their heart broken.
15. You complain about being the mom, but inside you secretly love it and wouldn't want it any other way. You love being there for everyone and helping no matter what. And hey, mom's have more fun anyway.
