After months of trying the whole dating thing, I have learned a lot about what qualities make a guy “boyfriend material” and what constitutes them as a player. Trying to find someone who can be your better half is hard, trust me. But that’s why I am writing this: I want to save you the trouble of finding it out the hard way. So here are 15 signs that he just isn’t the guy for you.

1. He doesn’t know how to communicate.

Communication is the most important thing in a relationship. If you two cant even communicate when you guys are a thing, then there is no way that it will work in a relationship.

2. He says he doesn’t do commitment.

SOS. This boy doesn’t even deserve a chance with you.

3. He can’t make things work, such as distance.

In order for a relationship to work, both people have to put in effort. Compromising is key, and if they can’t try and make things work, then give them the boot.

4. He doesn’t make an effort to get to know you as a person.

You are a human being, with feelings and a heart. If he doesn’t care to get to know what makes you who you are, then why should you keep him around?

5. He doesn’t try to make plans with you.

DO NOT BE THE BOOTY CALL. You deserve better. If that boy can’t make plans to see you except when he wants to get it on, then you need to be done.

6. You know that you aren’t the only girl he is talking to.

He doesn’t know what commitment is and he wants to keep his options open. This kind of guy isn’t worth your time. Plus, you need to guard yourself from getting hurt or getting something in the bedroom.

7. He doesn’t care about your friends.

Your friends are a part of your lifeline. If he can’t get to know them, then why are you still with him? Your friends should become his friends and vice versa.

8. He tries to control the things that you do.

Oh, God, you don’t need this. You are a strong independent woman who can do her own thing.

9. You start to feel like he's using you.

If you only feel like an object to him, then he’s not the guy for you. You need to feel like a real person. You should feel loved and cherished and if he doesn’t do that, well, then adios.

10. He stops talking to you for no reason (i.e. he ghosted you.)

He doesn’t give a shit about your feelings. This will only end with your heart broken and you wondering what you did wrong. It wasn’t you, it was him, and you deserve better.

11. He plays the game. He leads you on and then cuts you off.

A boy that does that, is not looking for a relationship. He is just looking for someone to fool around with, only when it is convenient for him.

12. He doesn’t stick to his word.

If that boy thinks its okay to change his mind a million times, then he needs to go.

13. He hasn’t made the effort to take you on a real date.

Netflix and Chill is not a date. No way in hell is that classified as a date. Go out for dinner or for coffee or to a movie. Even a nice and romantic walk by the lake means more than just watching Netflix.

14. The relationship you have with him is strictly physical.

If he only talks to you because of your body, he is bad news. Tell that boy, byeeee.

15. He doesn’t make you feel like a dime piece.

Girly, if he doesn’t make you feel like you are the prettiest girl in the room, then why are you still with him? Be with the guy that makes you feel like a million bucks, the guy who loves you when you are rocking the messy bun & sweats on a Saturday and then can make you feel like a dime when you go out in that new dress of yours.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
