My parents mean so much to me! Without them I wouldn't be where I am and I wouldn't be who I am with out them. Here are a few reasons to look back on and thank them for all that they have done for you!
1. For all the times they held you
Whether you were a newborn or a cranky teenager every moment is precious to them and it gives you comfort.
2. For all the times they wiped your tears
No matter what they were always there to wipe your tears and pick up the pieces.
3. For all the times they told you everything was going to be alright
Even if they knew it wasn't or was they said everything's going to be alright out of reassurance for you.
4. For all the times they held your hand
Whether they were trying to keep you from getting hit by a car or just holding your hand to love on you they are always right by your side holding on.
5. For all the times they helped you over come your fears
They might have been scared of your fear as well but they wanted you to be strong and they wanted to help you overcome your fears.
6. For all the times they pushed you to be better
It might have seemed like they were hard on you to be perfect, but they just wanted to push you to make you who you are today.
7. For all the times they had confidence in you
Whether you believed in yourself or not your parents always have.
8. For all the times they supported you
Whether it was the first day of ballet class when you were 2 or your final performance as a senior in high school. they have always supported you the whole way.
9. For all the times they helped you with your homework
in preschool it was helping you color the right square, in 2nd grade it was making sure your subtraction problems are right, in middle school it was helping you with math. In high school it might have been help on a project. No matter the occasion they were always willing to help.
10. For all the times they tucked you in at night
No matter what they were always there to tell you good night and to tuck you in and to say" don't let the bed bugs bite".
11. For all the times they kissed your boo-boo's
Everyone knows that mommy's kisses made boo-boo's magically stop hurting.
12. For all the times the told you to stop
Whether you were having fun, or laughing, or just messing around they always told you to stop. Mothers know best!
13. For all the times they grounded you
You probably did something stupid and you knew it. They were just doing their parent duties and doing that is right.
14. For all the times they drove you to school/practices
You know that if it weren't for them you would have never made it to school or practice on time.
15. For all the times they said I love you
You know that your parents love you but when they say it it makes you feel special inside.
