Growing up a daddy’s girl, I have always looked at my dad as if he put the stars in the sky. I am so blessed to be able to say we have such an amazing relationship. I’m always hearing from family members how I’m his “spitting image.” We can be completely honest with each other, we have the same sense of humor, and we always have a good time when we’re together. Here are 15 reasons I’m so beyond thankful for my dad.
- For showing me how a lady is supposed to be treated.
- For not letting Mom cut my hair.
- For teaching me how to fish and hunt.
- For patiently teaching me how to drive (and not getting mad when I clipped that mailbox).
- For always making time for me.

- For being honest with me ("Yes, it does make you look fat.").
- For letting me help him fix and build things.
- For always being a shoulder for me to cry on.
- For letting me vent and complain about everything and anything.
- For never letting me forget that I’m beautiful.
- For dropping some gas money every now and then.
- For helping develop my relationship with God.
- For insisting that so many family traditions continue.
- For loving Mom as much as you do.
