Well folks, it's that time of year again. Leaves are turning red, bugs are slowly disappearing back to the pit of doom from whence they came, and every single product on the market is being reconfigured to somehow include the distinct taste and scent of pumpkin spice. Being a self-diagnosed basic, October is without a doubt my favorite time of year, and, in my humble opinion, definitely one of the most exciting months. So, while you're waiting for ABC Family's 13 Nights of Halloween marathon, grab a pumpkin spiced latte and enjoy some of the finer things about fall.
1. The moment it turns 12:00 a.m. on Oct. 1:
2. Frolicking in all the new fallen leaves:
3. Being crazy pumped about football games in the Swamp every Saturday:
4. Trying to take cute fall pictures at the pumpkin patch like:
5. When all the coffee shops start selling pumpkin spice lattes:
6. When someone calls you basic for doing basic Fall things:
7. When some hater tells you its too early to start getting ready for Halloween:
8. When you realize you don't need to care about their opinion anyways because its Halloween:
9. Trying on all of your different options for Halloween costumes and showing them to your friends:
10. Eating every single "Pumpkin Spice" labeled food item in the nearby vicinity:
11. When you wake up and realize it's getting cold outside:
12. Waking up on Halloween day like:
13. Going to a bunch of different Halloween parties with your friends and looking cute:
14. Turning up all Halloween night long:
15. Waking up the next morning depressed that Halloween is over but super excited for Christmas:
Yes it's that amazing time of year again, and as you can see, I'm more than a little excited. It's time to break out the jack o'lanterns and enjoy the pumpkin spice everything. So everybody, go grab your flannels, put on those UGG boots (no matter how hard people judge), and head to your nearest pumpkin patch. October is here, and it's going to fly by! Let's make it last while we can.
*slam dunks a pumpkin* FALL IS LIFE
