There is no better holiday than one that brings joy to everyone around, Christmas is the holiday that does this and let me tell you why...
1. Music
When holiday music comes on the radio, people always going insane! It's such a happy feeling and it brings people all around together. It's special to the tie of year, you don't typically hear people listening to it in the middle of June, so when this music comes on, it's special to some people
2. Lights
When I think of Christmas, I think of all the decorations around the city and how beautiful everything looks with the glittery snow. Christmas would not be the same without the lights on each house.
3. Holiday Cookies
Nothing is more fun than baking fresh sugar cookies for Santa. Decorating them with my family was always something I looked forward to every Christmas!
4. SNOW
Living in the northern states and experiencing snow makes me love Christmas even more. I couldn't last a Christmas without making a snowman and experiencing the cold weather, being wrapped in scarves and layers just to get your mail. Along with snowball fights and sledding and many other winter activities!
5. Family
"I'll be home for Christmas", a popular song and something that is very true. Many families get together this time of year. Some families only ever see each other during the holiday seasons, which makes Christmas so important.
6. Giving
Christmas is the year of giving, I love buying my friends, family, and loved ones gifts and seeing them happy when they open it. Other than giving loved ones gifts, I love going to my church and picking up a sheet for the toy drive, getting the kids who's parent cannot afford gifts, and then saying that they're from santa. I know that whens the kids open these gifts, that we have made their Christmas amazing.
7.Being with your loved ones
Being in a relationship or married is the perfect time for spending time together during the holidays with the time off work or school it can be so relaxing and great for bonding. Going to the city and walking around or staying inside watching a Christmas movie is a great comforting and bonding experience.
8.Seasonal Flavors!
Nothing is better than a peppermint mocha from Starbucks, or some peppermint ice-cream! I look forward to these things every Christmas!
9. Christmas Movies
Nothing is better than watching Movies with your friends or loved one. "Elf" is one of the best Christmas movies out there! But there's nothing that I love more than watching "A Christmas Story" on repeat on Christmas day!
10. Santa Clause is Coming to Town
Christmas wouldn't be the same without Santa. Nothing is better than Christmas spirit and having decorations everywhere. Seeing Santa at the malls and seeing the lines of children waiting with so much excitement brings joy to so many people. With the tracking apps to find out when santa is coming to you house, Christmas couldn't be any better!
11. Christ
We have to always remember that we wouldn't have Christmas without Jesus Christ. The entire season of Christmas is anticipating the birth of Him. We have to also keep in mind how thankful we are that He was born and celebrate by going to Mass and rejoicing this wonderful season.
12.Christmas Traditions
Everyone has their special family traditions such as hanging stockings, staying up late, and setting out cookies that were made on Christmas Eve for santa, but not forgetting the carrots for the special flying reindeer.
13.Decorating the Tree
Decorating the tree as a family is so much fun. Seeing all of the old ordainments that you have made as a kid and some pictures can get a fun conversation going with your family and siblings.
14. Christmas Scents
We can all thank Bath and Bodyworks for this one! With their Holiday scents, a fake christmas tree would go perfect with a pine scent plug in for the walls!
15. Christmas Sweaters
Ugly Christmas sweaters with flashing lights and 3D designs are always important for the season, or even a cute christmas sweater; these can only be acceptable with the season.
