Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. You don't have to suffer from anxiety, depression, bipolar, or any other mental health disorder to need a little push every now and again. If you do suffer from one, you know the importance of keeping yourself motivated and on track to prevent a relapse from your disorder. Here are some inspirational and uplifting quotes to help remind you how to just take a step back to breath and enjoy life...

2. "We plant seeds that will flower as results in our lives, so best to remove the weeds of anger, avarice, envy and doubt, that peace and abundance may manifest for all."- Dorothy Day

3. "Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny." -C.S. Lewis

4. "I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity." - Billy Joel

5. "Our sorrows and wounds are healed only when we touch them with compassion." - Buddha

6. "Courage isn't having the strength to go on, it is going on when you don't have strength" -Napoleon Bonaparte

7. “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.” -Helen Keller

8. “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.” - Albert Einstein

10. "Courage is grace under pressure." -Ernest Hemingway

11. "It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop." -Confucius

12. "Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." -Barack Obama

13. "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts."-Bertrand Russell

14. "To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance"-Oscar Wilde

15. "A pearl is a beautiful thing that is produced by an injured life. It is the tear [that results] from the injury of the oyster. Sit back and breath. Life is beautiful. You're beautiful and strong. You can get through this, don't ever give up.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
