15 Quotes to Calm an Anxious Mind

Even if you find yourself to be a level headed person, anxiety is able to find it’s way to take over even the most strong minded person. Life is unpredictable and because of that, things are not always promised to go our way. It is easy to become overwhelmed by the curve balls life throws. However, instead of letting life win, why not fight back? Whatever it is that may be bothering you right now most likely won’t matter in a couple of months. Here are some reminders to repeat in your head when things become too difficult; life is too short to spend it worrying.

1. "This too shall pass."

2. "A day of worrying is more exhausting than a week of work."- John Lubbock

4. "Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles, it takes away today's peace."

5."One day at a time. One moment at a time."

6."Trying to control uncertainty in your life will relieve anxiety today but increase anxiety tomorrow."

7. "We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the that is waiting for us..." -E.M. Forster

8. "You don't have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you." - Dan Millman
