14 Things People With Nut Allergies Just Get

1. When the waiter/waitress tells you there aren't any nuts in the brownie dessert.

2. Having strong feelings for Benadryl.

3. “I’m allergic to nuts.”

“All nuts?” *boy laughs*

4. “I’m allergic to nuts.”

“Like all nuts?”

“Yes.”

“So you can’t have, like, a snickers bar?!”

“That would be correct.”

Nothing like intelligent conversations about nuts.

5. When your significant other chooses to forego nutty toppings on their ice cream. We appreciate you.

6. Having a stigma against certain foods/drinks even though you can probably have them.

Hazelnut coffee creamer? Crunch bars? Special K bars? All nut-free but there's no denying they're suspicious.

7. Waiting for the server to return after asking the dreaded question- "Is this cooked in peanut oil?"

8. Then there's the overly-concerned friend who is afraid you might die anytime you eat something new.

But we low key appreciate it.

9. What's the big deal with Nutella?

10. And you still haven't found an appropriate response to answer the "You're really missing out.." statement.

11. Having to give away half of your childhood Halloween candy to your brothers/sisters. What a sad time.

12. Something about the directions on your EpiPen stating "Swing and jab into upper thigh" doesn't sit well with you.

13. You've seen this viral video of a child covered in peanut butter and thought to yourself... "This would be my death sentence."

14. But at the end of the day, we the nut-free squad, have each other's backs and share in the struggle.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
