Your best friend is your partner in crime, your other half, and probably the person who you spend the majority of your time with. Odds are good that you have plenty of inside jokes and traditions, but here are a few things that we all say to our BFFs.
"I wanted to watch our show on Netflix, but I couldn’t do it without you.”
Some things are just too sacred.
“Did you see that Instagram post? What did you think?”
Your best friend knows you better than anyone else. She definitely knows when you’re upset about something that your crush posted on social media and that you probably want to talk about it.
“Do you want to go out tonight?”
Because parties just aren’t fun without your BFF.
“Do you want to stay in tonight?”
When you don’t want to deal with people, staying in on the couch with your bestie is the perfect weekend activity.
“What should I wear?”
You are one another’s go–tos when it comes to fashion advice and you won’t go out in an outfit that your best friend hasn’t approved.
“Are you sure that this looks good?”
Her opinion is more important than that of anyone else who you will see that night.
“Is he a good potential crush?”
If your best friend doesn’t approve, there is no point.
“When I’m in your wedding…”
You know your friendship is for the long haul, so you plan for things years in advance.
“Our children are going to be best friends.”
You know that your best friend’s offspring will be just as cool as she is, so you can’t wait until your kids are tight with hers (many years down the road).
“Let’s add that to our bucket list.”
There are personal bucket lists and there are friendship bucket lists because there are some things that you have to do with your best friend by your side.
“I’m proud of you.”
When your best friend achieves something, it’s like you also achieve it. You couldn’t be prouder.
“You inspire me.”
Your BFF makes you a better you in every way and you constantly remind her of that.
“I’m thankful for you.”
You would be lost without her and you want her to know that.
“You are my person.”
If we have learned anything from "Grey's Anatomy" (even those of us who haven’t watched it), it’s that there is nothing quite as powerful as a dynamic duo and she is your other half to that.
