We've all experienced this blessing in a curse one way or another--but do you really have what it takes to be a procrastinator? Do you find yourself doing the majority of these things on a daily basis? Is this how you get all your work done, even if it is handed in on time? If so, I'm afraid you've joined the club.
1. You find yourself rushing to do all your work the night before it's due.
2. You constantly get distracted by everything.
Since when did the wall become so interesting?
3. You take a food break every 15 minutes.
I mean, you need energy to work, right?
4. You keep telling yourself you need a relaxation day… almost every day.
5. You wait until a fixed time to start doing work.
You say you’ll start at exactly 8:00 PM, but as soon as you look at the time and see that it’s 8:01, you decide to start at 9:00 PM.
And before you know it, it’s 9:01, and then 10:01, and the cycle repeats.
6. You always sleep in.
Because who would want to get up early to do work?
7. You’re a disorganized mess.
8. You find yourself daydreaming a lot.
9. You’re always looking for excuses to put off your work.
10. You use Sparknotes for all those essays.
And you somehow manage to write a five page paper on a novel you never read.
11. You find yourself doing everything but what you’re supposed to do.
12. You’re always asking everyone if they got their work done.
Because if they didn’t start yet either, are you really procrastinating?
