Everyone knows that person. The one blubbering over cute videos of baby animals or always working his/her pet into any conversation. He/she tries to feed any animal crossing the path because "who knows when that sweet furry thing had its last meal?!". These people also have longer lists of future animals they want as pets than baby names.
Crazy animal lovers are compassionate, loving, and usually, pretty socially awkward. It's okay though because they find solace in the unconditional love animals show and knowing every person has a little bit of "Crazy Animal Lover" in them!
1. We try so hard to break our pets of sleeping on the furniture, but we usually allow our pets in bed anyway because, after all, it only matters our fur babies are comfortable.
Maybe they'll eventually sleep in that $50.00 pet bed we bought.
2. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is cuter than an animal butt.
(Especially, a wagging animal butt.)
3. We welcome the attention from our pets when we cook or eat food.
It's okay... We just pretend our pets actually pay attention because they love us.
4. We are excited finding friends who have pets, and we become friends with those people just because of their pets.
Fluffy just GETS me.
5. Nothing is more excitable than seeing an animal do something cute.
(Especially, animals in the "wild".)
6. Friends must be very careful about mentioning sad things in relation to animals... It usually results in a breakdown.
Please don't point out the roadkill when we are driving around.
7. We often have very mixed emotions about eating meat or animal products.
It's a daily moral struggle... Just try not to think about it, right?
8. Animal lovers spend a significant amount of time watching cute animal videos... Like the 5 minute video of this cutie eating.
If there was a job based around this, I'd be really good at it.
9. We spend $$$ - don't even ask how much - on our animals.
My dog's wardrobe has officially outgrown the walk-in closet.
10. Zoo trips are super exciting and bring out a certain level of aggression.
You gotta do what you gotta do to see all your favorite animals (a.k.a all the animals).
11. Animals are always doing something cute, so life is definitely unpredictable.
The internet always has a cute, new video to watch and squeal at.
12. Animals never fail to cheer us up when life gets us down. After all, animals are so precious and innocent!
13. So while animal lovers are considered crazy, we have it pretty good, don't ya think?
