Coming up with date ideas is always a daunting task. Either you settle for the same old boring outings, or you just end up hanging out at someone's house. In college though, there are so many fun activities to do, and Penn State offers a wide variety of different and fun date plans. Whether you are into the arts, sports, or the bar scene, there is something for everyone.

Here are 14 fun State College date idea to inspire you for your next romantic outing:

1. Spikes' Game

While this is a seasonal event, Spikes' games are tons of fun! They are cheap, easy, and relaxing. It's all the fun of a major league game while being right down the street.

2. Mount Nittany

Mount Nittany is a great way to get active and also spend time with someone special. Even if you're not into the outdoors, you still have the whole walk to talk and get to know someone. Plus you get an amazing view.

3. The Arboretum

Probably one of the most beautiful places on campus. Not only is it romantic, but there is a ton to look at. With fall coming up, it's also great for a pumpkin patch date. Let's face it: it's totally Insta worthy.

4. The Creamery

The best ice cream you can find in Pennsylvania! It's delicious, and a ~chill~ hang out for a first date. It also makes you feel like your back in high school getting ice cream with your crush... oh the nostalgia.

5. The Field

One of the yummiest restaurants in State College. You can either pick up a burger and fries for a full dinner or just a quick milkshake. Either way, you won't go home hungry!

6. Picnic on Old Main

Some what cliche for Penn Staters, but cute none the less. Bring a frisbee, speaker and get ready for some Old Main pictures for your Snapchat story.

7. Penn State All Sports Museum

This one is for the more athletic type. If it's the first date, this is an easy way to get to know someone without the awkward silence. You can talk about sports, take fun pictures, and see if you can find the statue of JoePa.

8. Palmer Museum of Art

If you're more of the artsy type, this is another interesting date idea. You get to walk around and feel hipster, all while staying on campus.

9. Hockey Games

While football games are known for their tailgates and wild fans, hockey games are smaller versions of Beaver Stadium pandemonium. They are fun, loud, home of Big 10 Champs, and make for a great conversation. Bring some friends and make it a group date, you won't be disappointed!

10. Bar Crawl/Coffee Crawl

Whether you're 21 or making your way to the bar stage of life, crawls are tons of fun. Penn State is known for their pubs. They are full of life, and you'll probably run into multiple people you know. And if you're not feeling the alcohol, Penn State also has tons of great coffee shops.

11. Pegula Free Skate

Pegula Ice Arena offers public skating and skate rentals to customers. This may be a throwback to the middle school days, but it's a great way to break the ice!

12. Movies

The most obvious date idea of all time, but still a good one. Usually, State College Theatres will give student discounts if you show your ID.

13. Laser Tag

So underrated, but legit the most fun you'll ever have. You get to be competitive, run around, and act like a little kid! This is a great group date, and Amazing Laser Tag is Penn State's most well-known spot.

14. Bowling

Bowling is such a great bonding activity. Whether you are a pro or you need the kids bumpers, you'll have a fun filled time.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
