Everyone's favorite holiday is quickly approaching, and I don't know about you, but I have no idea what I'm going to be for halloween. But, I do know what I'm not going to be. I've seen enough cats, Sandy and Dannys, cops, and school girls to last me a life time. And don't even get me started on how many Joker and Harley Quinns will be roaming the streets this year. This Halloween, let's strive to not be basic and go above and beyond with our Halloween costumes. Here are 14 not-basic costumes to try this year.

1. Eleven from "Stranger Things"

2. Cher Horowitz from "Clueless"

3. The cast of "Friends"

4. Jess from "New Girl"


5. Put on a plaid shirt and be the Brawny paper towel guy
