Taylor swift is one of the most known artists of this decade. Spanning from millions of albums sold to world tours selling out to even the tabloids holding onto anything they can to peg her as some psycho. Yeah you may hear her singles all over the radio and you've possibly had a friend who will continuously listen to an album on repeat for the last three years but Swift is more than just a hit maker. Her strengths lie within storytelling. The lyrics paint an exact picture of an emotion. These might not of been picked to go on the radio, they are the little gems that fans love keeping for themselves locked away in the safety of our cars and rooms. Since it was the one year mark since Taylor has stopped in Lexington, here are my top “underrated” Taylor Swift songs.
1. "Cold As You."

The first of many heartbreaking songs from each album. Also starting the fifth track on each album being the most vulnerable.
2. "Fearless"
Snapshot into the perfect first date.
3. "Forever and Always" (original and piano)

One song, two very different meanings.
4. "Speak Now"

We all want to speak up, even when it's sometimes not appropriate.
5. "Haunted"

Time moving slowly when somebody is fading away. Watching someone fall out of love can be haunting.
6. "Last Kiss"

7. "Holy Ground"

8. "All Too Well'
">
Plaid shirt days, scarves, and trying not to remember someone that hurt you. Loss is painful, but in order to forget and move on we have to go through the pain.
9. "The Lucky One"

People think you’re the lucky one, but that’s not always the case. Why she chose the “Rose garden over Madison Square.”
10. "I Wish You Would"
">
A relationship that is not quite right and, just like in the movies, the person you want to show up at your door does at two in the morning.
11. "All You Had To Do Was Stay"
">
Wanting them to stay but all they do is leave.
12. "Wonderland"
">
They fell down a rabbit hole and in the end both went mad.
13. "I Almost Do"

Picking up the phone, wanting to call to say I miss you but instead putting the phone down and walking away.
