Cramming a bunch of college students together in one living space certainly leads to some interesting and bizarre moments. Boundaries are crossed. Chaos is a daily way of life. Inevitably, you have no choice but to bond with the people that see you in your pajamas every day. And that's what makes living in a dorm a quintessential part of the college experience. Read on for 13 truths about that college dorm life.

1. You can live however you want, and no one will tell you otherwise.

No parents? No problem!

2. This also means you don’t have anyone keeping your lifestyle in check.

It can sometimes get a little out of hand.

3. But actually, doing laundry is such a hassle.

People who leave their stuff in the dryers are the worst. Not to mention those sock gremlins whose sole mission in life is to make sure you'll never wear matching socks again.

4. Communal bathrooms bring people together.

Brushing our teeth together is a special bonding moment.

5. They can also bring out the worst in people.

Some people have really questionable bathroom habits.

6. Speaking of, you get really used to people walking around in towels.

NBD.

7. Or pretty much anything.

Is it Halloween or is it an initiation? Who knows?

8. Living in dorms means you get caught up in weird college traditions.

#flaggate2k16 anyone?

9. And you kind of just accept music blasting at inappropriate hours.

Because asking college kids not to be rowdy is like asking the sun not to rise.

10. It’s entirely too easy to order late-night pizza.

With 3 a.m. delivery, Domino’s becomes your ride-or-die bae.

11. You don’t have to be alone if you don’t want to.

Your friends are probably living down the hall and entirely within reach.

12. But if you want to, that’s totally cool too.

You do still have your own room after all.

13. In the end, you learn to embrace the insanity and just roll with it.

College is certainly a lesson in adaptation.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
