13 Times Cappie From 'Greek' Taught You About Life

Back when "Freeform" was the iconic channel that was ABC Family, the world was given the gift of the most beautifully crafted show of the late 2000s. For those of you unaware of the show that was " Greek " stop whatever you're doing, get out your computer and do the best you can to binge watch until your eyes bleed. Unfortunately, Netflix ruined my life and took this masterpiece away from under me but, I digress. This was the show that taught a number of us, I presume, all we could have ever known about college and more.

Now, to the point of this article, oh, Cappie. One of my many first loves. One of my favorite characters in television. And one beautiful hunk of man. Here are some of his best quotes that will teach you about life. Use this as a guide or at the least, a chuckle and a laugh:

1. "Is it a rainy day or Monday? Those always get me down. "

We all can relate Cappie, we all can relate.

2. "AH! Biology. Okay, there's this guy named Chuck Darwin, now he proved that mankind has evolved over billions and trillions of years. Darwin showed that every aspect of human behavior has an evolutionary purpose. Right? Chatting up girls is in our genetic code, we're programmed to be able to do it. Why? So we can boink and make babies. It's survival of the flirtiest."

Words of wisdom from the smartest guy on television.

3. " We'll all be pals, like Harry Pottery, and you know, the other two. "

I mean, if they were important wouldn't their names be in the title of the franchise!?

4. "Oh i know that feeling well, it's torture, watching the girl of your dreams on the arm of some other guy."

No, I'm not crying, of course not...there's just dust in my eye.

5. "Hey, why are kittens called 'kittens'? They're little cats; shouldn't they be called 'cattens'?"

Why though????

6. " Drunk people don't feel pain. And neither do Scotsmen! "

The most valuable lesson of them all to be honest!

7. "No Bieber? That blows

Relevant then and even more relevant now.

8. " Being here at school is like Mardi Gras and the rest of life is like Lent, right? You gotta get it all out before you give it all up. "

Now that I'm graduating I am scared, anxious, and understand this so much more.

9. "If you want to avoid disappointment, try lowering your expectations."

I mean...he's not wrong.

10. " How the hell could they cancel Gilmore Girls?! "

At least they're bringing it back for a reunion * internal screaming *

11. " She wasn't crazy, she was in love; there's a fine line between the two. "

I'm just going to leave this here...

12. " ...and college has been everything I ever could've imagined it to be. So I kept thinking, why would I ever want to leave this place? But then I realized that there's so much left to learn and experience and look forward to, and now I'm graduating...hopefully, and heading out into the real world with the love of my life, who was my purpose. So, today I'm here to graduate, and tomorrow? Well, it's hard to say because I have no idea where I'll be."

ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THIS ?!? Now I can leave school, become an adult, and be at ease.

13. " Put your money in your sock, never eat from a cart, and never ever trust anyone like me."

And there you have it, folks. Live long and use Cappie as your spiritual guide to live your life the way it was intended...or, at the least, look at how darn cute he is.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
