1. Where are all my sweaters and leggings? I hope they still fit.
Bathing suit season is sadly over. Although I'll miss the beach, who doesn't love getting cozy in their big sweaters, leggings, and scarves? The cold air can be refreshing after a long, hot summer.
2. Can’t wait for everyone to post their Instagrams of pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks! How original.
How many times do you go on to check your Instagram and see pictures on pictures of Starbucks pumpkin lattes? We get it, it's fall. Suddenly, everyone becomes pumpkin-obsessed.
3. Let’s take a moment to give thanks for beanies. Who doesn't love being able to cover up bad hair days but still look cute?
I literally live for beanie season. We all have those days when we're running late to class and our hair looks terrifying. The easiest fix is to quickly throw on a beanie to cover that mess up and still look adorable.
4. When are the leaves going to change colors? I need an artsy picture outside with them.
When the leaves change, my whole mood changes. Something about the fall makes me feel lighter. Autumn colors are so beautiful, and it helps enhance photos. Everyone secretly wants that cute photo in their fall clothes, slowly throwing leaves in the air and trying to look like a model.
5. This season is honestly amazing for comfort.
Sweatpants. Sweatshirts. Scarves. Hats. Flannels. Leggings. Boots. Mittens. Do I need to say more?
6. I can’t wait to go on a hayride and pick a pumpkin with my girls, because honestly, who needs a boyfriend?
I love going pumpkin picking, and the hayride to get to the pumpkin patch always adds to the fun! It's tempting to want a boyfriend do fall activities with, however, going with friends is always a guaranteed good time.
7. Um, apple cider donuts, please! I’ll work it off tomorrow.
The thought of apple cider donuts makes my mouth water. If only donuts were good for you, I'd eat a box to myself!
8. Wait, but I need a hot body for Halloween, so maybe just one donut.
We're all guilty of wanting a smoking hot body for Halloween, but sometimes, fall food gets way too tempting. Remember, it's okay to indulge some days, but Halloween is around the corner. Have that cheat day but remember your squats!
9. What am I going to wear for Halloween? I need to stand out and be the life of the party.
Halloween costumes can cause a lot of stress. I've already been on Pinterest for hours looking up clever ideas. If you're like me and want to be creative, start looking up ideas early. It's an exciting concept, knowing you can be whoever you want for a weekend. So pick something good!
10. I want to go to a bonfire! Maybe I'll roast some marshmallows, make s’mores, and enjoy the crisp fall air.
Bonfires are one of my favorite things to do in the fall. There's always such a great atmosphere at bonfires, and everyone really gets to bond together. Making s'mores also adds to the party! Weirdly enough, I really enjoy the smell of my clothes and hair after sitting by a fire. Anyone else?
11. Acorns. Acorns everywhere. Let me watch the ground so I don’t twist my ankle on one.
I can't tell you how many times I've stepped on acorns and almost twisted my ankle. They definitely add to the fall feeling, but I wouldn't hate to see them go.
12. I want to go somewhere haunted to get in the Halloween spirit! Not too scary though, a face of horror doesn’t look too cute.
I hate scary. I can barely walk through a Halloween store and look at the fake spiders. Yup, I still get scared at the horrifying masks and giant bugs. However, I make an exception, just for the season! I'll always be down for a scary hayride or a creepy Halloween movie night. Just prepare to get jumped on and your hand squeezed by yours truly.
13. I need to get a Yankee Candle to make my room constantly smell like autumn.
I'm slightly obsessed with any scent that goes along with autumn. Autumn leaves, pumpkin pie, cinnamon rolls, apple cider; I'll take it all!
Have a lovely autumn filled with pumpkin everything, bonfires, and comfy clothes! Take in the cold, crisp air and remember to enjoy the season. Christmas will around the corner before we even know it.
