If you're like me, you are able to stay up late and wake up early with enough energy to last you all day. I like staying up late, but I hate sleeping in all morning. Here are 13 things you know if you're an early bird and a night owl.

1. You always eat breakfast.

You always have three meals a day because you wake up early enough to enjoy breakfast and then become hungry again for lunch later.

2. You're the last one asleep and first one up at sleepovers.

And then you lie there for hours waiting until you fall asleep or your friends decide to wake up, which is normally almost lunchtime.

3. You don't nap.

*This is me personally, it may be different for other people

4. You have so much time.

You definitely have a longer day if you stay up late and wake up early.

5. Your body wakes you up, not an alarm.

I don't set alarm to wake up early, it just happens.

6. You're always reading or watching Netflix into the late hours before deciding to go to sleep.

I don't know about you, but TV or reading helps me settle down and become tired.

7. You're always on time.

Because you tend to leave enough time to get ready.

8. You know all the places with late night delivery.

This is especially helpful while away at school and that midnight snack craving grows...

9. You lay in bed for a little bit after waking up.

You got the time and won't feel guilty laying there for an extra half hour or so.

10. Traffic is light.

Running errands in the morning is much easier than later because there are not as many people out because they're most likely still sleeping or getting ready.

11. You got to charge your phone twice a day.

Or it may be on 1% right when you climb in bed at the end of the night. There's no way your phone battery will be able to survive your long day.

12. You can go to bed at any time and wake up at any time and still feel energized and refreshed.

It's a blessing, tbh.

13. You can do homework late.

Because you are still able to be focused.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
