13 Things To Do If You Win The Lottery

With the recent excitement surrounding the largest Powerball jackpot in world history, we've all been secretly planning how we would spend the huge chunk of change. $1.5 billion is a lot of money to acquire all at once and it's important to strategize your spending. One way to approach your planning is by making a list. Here is a list of smart ways to spend your jackpot winnings:

1. Adopt as many dogs as your heart desires.

Because, let's be real, you can never have enough.

2. Pay off your college tuition.

Going to school would be a lot less stressful if we didn't have to pay for it.

3. Splurge in the Tiffany's store.

Who needs a boyfriend to buy you jewelry?

4. Buy a boyfriend when you get tired of buying yourself jewelry.

We're looking at you, Bieber.

5. Break up with him as a publicity stunt and date someone new.

Yup, Channing will do just fine.

6. Adopt more dogs.

The more the merrier?

7. Get season tickets for your favorite sports team.

8. Purchase your dream car.

Perhaps matching Mercedes like Khloe K.

9. Buy concert tickets. All of them.

They say money can't buy happiness. But it can buy concert tickets, and that's basically the same thing, right?

10. Travel the world.

11. Donate to charitable organizations.

Organizations like Hope Changes Everything provide education to underprivileged children in third world countries. This is the perfect way to selflessly give back.

12. Acquire the perfect wardrobe.

Retail therapy is the best type of therapy.

13. Pay off your parents' house.

I'm sure your parents would be a bit surprised you factored them into the equation. And, to be quite honest, this should be at the top of the list. Our parents do so much for us. Paying off their mortgage is the least one can do.

There are so many different ways to spend millions of dollars. Remember: it'll run out eventually. So, spend it wisely and remember this list when you win big!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
