Christmas is my favorite time of the year. It has the best decorations, best clothes and best music. I have my Christmas Cheer playlist ready the day after Thanksgiving, that way I can blast it in the car the next day. Here are my top 12 songs.
1.) Carol of the Bells by Capital Kings
You've probably heard it a thousand times already, but, trust me, you've never heard the Dubstep version. Nothing gets me moving faster than when this song comes on.
2.) Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Frank Sinatra
It's a classic. Who wouldn't have this song on their playlist?
3.) The 12 Days of Christmas by Straight No Chaser
Everybody has heard this song, nobody has heard it like this. An acapella rendition that offers all the Christmas carols in it...even a Jewish Hanukkah carol.
4.) Santa Clause is Thumbin' to Town by Relient K
It was not a mistype. This song imagines Santa hitchhiking on Christmas Eve to deliver the presents. Let's hope it doesn't actually happen.
5.) His Favorite Christmas Story by Capital Lights
A sad love story in a song. It's one of my favorite ones to jam to...and also cry to. #foreveralone
6.) Santa Tell Me by Ariana Grande
I like to add in a few new Christmas songs to give a variety in my playlist. This song is so fun to dance and sing to.
7.) O Come, All Ye Faithful by Pentatonix
Okay, honestly all the Pentatonix Christmas albums are actually on the playlist. However, this is my favorite one of them all. It's the drums that get me.
8.) Cold December Night by Michael Bublé
Bublé. How can you not have a Bublé song?
9.) White Christmas by The Drifters
Yes. Yes. Yes. Bing Crosby's original version is the way to go but have you actually heard "The Drifters's" version? Maybe you'll change your mind. (I have both on my playlist).
10.) Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helm
Just another classic Christmas song that deserves to be on everyone's playlist.
11.) A Marshmallow World by Seth MacFarlane
The same goes for this one. A classic.
12.) All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey
WHO DOES NOT HAVE MARIAH CAREY ON THEIR PLAYLIST? ESPECIALLY THIS SONG? Surprisingly, this song is already considered a classic even though it's not that old. This song is so great.
