13 Signs You Are A Complete Daddy's Girl

Your dad is one of the most important people in your life - especially when you're a daddy's girl. He is your parent, but also one of your best friends. Here are 13 signs that you are a complete daddy's girl:

1. You and your dad have the same taste in food.

He introduced you to your favorite foods, so you always trust his judgment when it comes to eats. There is no better food adventurer than your dad.

2. He always takes your side in arguments

…even when they involve your mom. No matter what, your dad always has your back.

3. You only played sports growing up so that your dad could coach you.

Even though the thought of kicking a ball around a field for hours every week never really appealed to you, you did it for your dad. He loved to coach you and you loved getting those extra few quality hours with him every week.

4. He must approve every outfit before you go out.

Your dad is super protective, but that’s ok with you. His stamp of approval is the most valuable one there is.

5. You have a nickname that only he can call you.

As many times as you’ve tried to phase this embarrassing nickname out of your life, you can’t help but respond when your dad calls it out.

6. He is your personal driver – and he loves it.

Let’s be real: he loves getting those few extra minutes with you in the car.

7. The two of you have inside jokes that no one will ever understand.

The rest of your family looks at you as though you’re speaking a different language, but you don’t care. You love the bond – and countless laughs – that those inside jokes bring.

8. He proudly reps your school every day.

From the sticker on his car to the college baseball cap he never takes off, your dad never misses a chance to brag about you and your accomplishments.

9. You have preferred status at the Bank of Dad.

No money, no problem. You can always count on your dad to slip you a little extra cash under the table.

10. He taught you how to drive.

Beginning with those first laps around the empty parking lot and ending with the terrifying highway drives, your dad always made sure that you were safe. Watching his little girl grow up wasn’t always the easiest, but he made the experience one to remember.

11. Movie nights with your dad are your favorite nights.

Since you guys are so similar, you share all of the same favorite movies. You can always find a partner-in-crime in him.

12. He gives you the best advice.

Your dad only wants the best for you – and he never hesitates to help you get back on the right path. Whether you agree with him in the moment or not, you know he is always right in the end.

13. Your dad is willing to do almost anything to make you smile.

You are your dad’s little princess, and that won’t ever change. At the end of the day, all he wants is for you to be happy. You may not thank him enough, but you could not be more appreciative of everything he has done to make your life what it is today.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
