We all remember the days of being a second semester senior in high school. Every day, you became more and more eager to never walk those halls again. You were happy to leave the overly organized, childlike setting of learning and continue your education at a higher institution. After you accepted your admission to your university is when the senioritis started to really kick in. Unfortunately, some of these characteristics followed you after you graduated high school. Here are 13 signs senioritis followed you to college.
1. You're always running a few minutes late.
The classic excuse, “Sorry I’m late. There was an accident on the highway,” doesn't work any more. Your professor doesn’t care if you're late or not, it’s just a bad habit you can’t seem to break.
2. You're ALWAYS tired.
No matter what time it is.
3. You're guilty of skipping a class to go back to your room and nap.
4. You wait until the last minute to do your homework.
Especially if the weather is nice or your favorite TV show is on that night.
5. You have trouble paying attention in class.
6. If you don't know the material, you don't bother studying for it.
7. You NEED coffee.
It’s the only thing that gets you through the morning.
8. You “forget” to bring your book to class, when really you are tired of carrying it around.
9. Your backpack feels lighter and lighter as the semester goes on.
“Shoot, why’d I even bring my backpack?”
10. Studying puts you to sleep.
No matter how hard you try, it doesn’t seem to last very long. Probably because you're so tired all the time.
11. You find yourself constantly doing random things on the Internet.
You should be making a Quizlet, but you’d much rather be online shopping.
12. You spend all your money getting food with friends during your free period.
It happens at least three times a week.
13. You try to raise your GPA at the last minute.
