15 Reasons Why My "Person" Is My "Person"
Breanne Grimes

Anyone who is a Grey's Anatomy fan or who has even heard of Grey's Anatomy knows about the friendship between Meredith and Christina. The infamous phrase "You're my person" comes from these two and the amazing bond that they share. If you are lucky, like I am, you can relate to these two and may have "a person" of your own. Everyone has multiple friends but you can only have one person. They understand you like no other. They are someone you can go to with anything and everything and you know that they would never, ever think about judging you. Sometimes they even know you better than even you know yourself.

Here are some reason why my "person" is my "person."

1. She's always motivating me to be a better me.

2. On my worst days I know that she will be there to hold me while I cry and tell me everything's going to be alright.

3. Just like I know that she'll be laughing with me on my best days.

4. When I don't think i can survive another bad day she there to remind me that I can.

5. When going through a bad break up, she's there to put a smile on my face.

6. She knows all of my secrets and I know she'll never tell.

7. She's always ready to party with me when I need it.

8. I know that she would do anything for me and i'd do anything for her.

9. No matter what happens in life I know that I will always have her.

10. She knows when i'm lying even if its through a text message.

11. Being out without her just doesn't seem right.

12. She's brutally honest when I need her to be.

13. The bond that we share is unbreakable.

14. Staying in and doing nothing is one of our favorite things.

15. I couldn't picture my life without her.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
